In DS5211, R represents an aromatic hydrocarbon compound containing multiple BCB active groups connected to the benzene ring. The structure also contains unsaturated double bonds. It appears as a yellow-green powder, slightly soluble in toluene, with a melting point of 141-157°C. After pre-polymerization, DS5211 becomes soluble in toluene. This product has a suitable melting point, preventing resin flow during application. It can undergo curing reaction by itself or crosslink with other unsaturated resins. The reaction forms structural units of six-membered or eight-membered rings, resulting in excellent temperature resistance and dimensional stability. The cured material exhibits low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, showing outstanding electrical performance.
Applications
As a high-performance crosslinking agent, Desytek® DS5211 can self-polymerize under heating conditions, and also undergo crosslinking polymerization with monomers or resins containing unsaturated bonds. Desytek® DS5211 provides excellent thermal crosslinking activity for unsaturated resin formulation systems, resulting in cured materials with higher Tg and thermal stability, further reducing CTE and improving dimensional stability.
Desytek crosslinking agent series generally contain multiple BCB active groups with high reactivity. These products can undergo thermal crosslinking reaction with other unsaturated resins, improving the thermal reaction performance of the formulation system without increasing the initiator. The reaction forms hexagonal or octagonal ring structural units with good thermal stability. The cured materials have low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, showing excellent electrical performance.

The product has good storage stability, excellent reactivity, and provides cured films with good flatness, heat resistance, low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, and low expansion coefficient. |
